BSc Geography/Environmental Science (Manchester), PGCE, First Aid at Work

My qualifications include a BSc in Geography/ Environmental Science and a PGCE in Secondary Education (Geography). After initially teaching Geography in secondary schools for a number of years I then moved into Field Studies. I gained a great deal of my experience working for Hertfordshire Outdoors teaching fieldwork across the 5-18 age range and also carrying out practical conservation work in school grounds. I have enjoyed doing some voluntary conservation work with BTCV, the Millennium Commission and more recently the North York Moors National Park. Lots of my free time is spent playing with and looking after my little girl, but I also enjoy walking, playing the piano and tending our allotment.
