BA (hons) in Environment and Business (University of Leeds), First Aid at Work

I’m delighted to be working at Cranedale where I can combine my passion for geography, the environment and sustainability. My interest in how people understand and engage with the natural world really took shape during my degree at the University of Leeds, where I took modules across a wide range of subjects. This culminated in a dissertation exploring the future of staple crops in Tanzania, using large‑scale prediction data to examine how climate change affect yields and local perspectives on crop changes.

During and after university, I spent time working for an environmental consultancy, living and breathing all things GIS, before moving into a role as an audience data analyst for museums.  Most recently I returned from a solo trip around South America. Whilst there I visited the Galápagos, seeing the incredible wildlife it has to offer, and experienced the Andean mountains in Bolivia – talk about an extreme environment!

Nowadays, when I’m not working, you’ll likely find me out on more adventures or halfway up a rock face. I’m excited to swap my bike from the dirt tracks in Uruguay to the lovely (if a bit hilly!) lanes around Kirby G!
