BSc (Hons) Geography (Bangor University), First Aid at Work
The majority of my childhood memories are of forest, beach and mountain walks with family and friends. Growing up close to the Lake District and holidaying in Abersoch (North Wales) I have spent many of my weekends walking, biking and camping in these areas. My passion for the natural environment has stemmed from these experiences. The love for the outdoors and the enthusiasm of my secondary school geography teacher lead me to study BSc Geography at Bangor University.
During my time at Bangor I was able to enjoy fieldwork around Snowdonia, Cornwall and Tenerife. It was these experiences combined with an optional placement with an outdoor educational centre on Anglesey that lead me to want to teach in the outdoors.
In my free time you’ll often find me out on the roads on a road bike or up in some hills, generally just enjoying the beautiful countryside the UK has to offer.
