I am currently in my placement year of Bsc Biology at Sheffield Hallam University. I enjoy my degree as it feeds into my interest in the natural world. I grew up in Warwickshire in an area with several nature reserves nearby which I would visit with my family and scout groups.
I started my year placement as Education Assistant here at Cranedale in September 2018. I’ve really enjoyed the freedom to work on my own projects as well as being out and about all day.
Outside of work and studies I like to go for walks especially in beautiful areas such as the Peak District near Sheffield and the Yorkshire Moors. I still go down to Sheffield regularly to meet up with the Fellwalking and Mountaineering Society. I also enjoy live music and go to gigs and festivals whenever I can.
