BSc (Hons) Physical Geography (Bangor University), First Aid at Work

Growing up in Yorkshire, the greatest county ever, I’ve always been out and about from a young age walking, camping and cycling in the beautiful Yorkshire countryside. I’ve always been interested in the natural world and this has led me to study Geography throughout my school years. I studied BSc Geography at Bangor University where I had the privilege to carry out fieldwork in stunning Snowdonia National Park.

I’m passionate about the natural environment and being able to enthuse young people into studying it further is a great feeling. I’ve worked for the National Trust and various waste management companies where I’ve been able to continue my interest in the environment in the working world. I was part of the scouts when I was younger and have always enjoyed the outdoors, so being able to study and teach in the natural environment is a dream!.

I’ve had the pleasure of camping, walking and cycling around the world and enjoy lots of other sports such as football, golf and fishing.
