Laurence

BSc Zoology (University of Nottingham), PhD Biological Sciences (Open University), First Aid at Work

I have worked as a Senior Field Studies Tutor for eight years at Epping Forest Field Centre and I have also worked in a range of roles including wildlife etoxicology, environmental education and ecological research whilst working for The Froglife Trust and subsequently for the British Trust for Ornithology.

My PhD looked into the microhabitat preferences of the great crested newt in a woodland area and I also undertook a PGCE in secondary science at York University.

I have a long standing interest in all aspects of the natural world and I am a keen cyclist, long distance runner and walker.
